How to Write Your First Copy Productively.

Is this your first time when it comes to copywriting? Have you been trying to produce your first copy the best way that you can? If you answered yes, then the following article will be very helpful to you.

Don’t Complicate Things: One of the main goals that you should have in your mind is to keep things simple for your prospects, in every possible way. You should make it easy for him/her to read, understand and consume the information in your copy. Do not make things hard for your prospects by making the copy difficult to make yourself look good.

Because that method is never effective. You should give your prospects good indication of what you are providing how what they must do to get it. This basically means that you should use simple sentences, simple paragraphs, simple words and everything that can give your prospect a better experience.

Longer Copy is Better than Shorter Copy: When you write sales copy, there is no limitation to how much you say about a product’s features or benefits. The more info that you supply to your potential clients, the more opportunities you will receive for converting them into real clients.

However, the one thing that you should keep in mind is that long copy has the tendency to lose the attention of most people. So, as long as you are not repeating the same unexciting things, you should be okay. But the minute that you think you have said everything that needs to be said, you should not provide any additional filler information.

Only produce enough to let your potential client know what is being supplied and how to take action. So, the length of the copy relies on how much is needed to properly send the prospect the correct message to take action.

Emphasize Your Guarantee: One of the factors that will make people pay attention to your sales copy is the attached guarantee. This is where you decrease the risk for your prospect. Make them feel comfortable about order your product or service.

Get your prospects to see that there is no risk associated with getting your product. Even if you do not have an elaborate guarantee, you will notice your sales increase when you use this approach. Your sales copy should emphasize that you have a great risk free product that is right for them. Do not forget that when you write your copy, do it with confidence.

This is so that your prospects know that you know what you are talking about. So, even if you are not a seasoned pro, it should not be obvious in your sales copy.

How Beginners Can Easily Benefit From Email Copywriting

Creating a successful email copy is all about understanding your target audience and giving them what they want through each of your emails. In order to increase your chances of success, you should try and focus on the various elements of your email copy and try to get them perfect each time. This article will show you how to direct your attention toward the nitty-gritty and this will let you become more triumphant with email copywriting.

It’s Essential to Have a Purpose: With any type of copywriting, you have to know what it is you’re trying to achieve. If you’re trying to convince your readers of something, or if you want them to do something, you have to figure this out before you send your email.

In some cases, your purpose may be simply to have your readers click on a particular link at the end of the email so they can take a look at your offer or product. When you know your exact purpose, you can more easily create emails that will help you to achieve it.

Provide Real Value: Even if the purpose of your email is to sell something, make sure it also contains something helpful to readers. Rather than making your email nothing but a sales letter, it should also contain some valuable information.

Before you hit people with your offer, you should give them something educational that they can use. This way, they’ll have something to absorb and think about and not feel too pressured by your sales approach. On the other hand, you don’t want to make your email so helpful that people feel they don’t need anything else.

The idea is to give readers some introductory material in your email that leaves them wanting more. This is how your email can effectively pre-sell your offer and make people want to check it out.

Avoid Words that Would Trigger Spam Filters: You have to avoid certain overused words in your email that are generally used by spammers. So if your subject line says something like, “Make more money!” it won’t even reach many of your readers.

If you use words or phrases like this, your emails will be relegated to junk mail folders and never read. So be careful as to what words you use in your subject line and in your email. If you subscribe to an autoresponder service such as Aweber, you shouldn’t have to worry about this, as they will let you know if your emails contain words that could be problematic.

When all is said and done, it becomes apparent that email copywriting is not very hard if you can see the direction you want to move in and are positive of your intentions.

The Basics of Copywriting for the Non-Professional Writer

Writing copy for your blog or static site is definitely doable, even if you consider your self to be a bit ‘writing challenged.’ Actually, everything is within your grasp and control if you have reliable information, have studied and practiced. Below we will touch on a few important points about copywriting, so you really ought to pay attention.

You don’t really need to be an expert at copywriting to come up with good, effective titles. All effective and highly converting titles have ingredients, and you have to discover what they are so you know what to do. Your headline must convey a good sense of the offer in the copy, and then you can add something such as a very clear and powerful benefit.

You do have to be proactive, and one action you can take is searching for sales letters and picking apart the titles, or headlines. Professional magazines and the gossip newspapers employ writers who compose those killer headlines, and of course they are great for studying. You understand that your titles are responsible for getting the first sentence of your copy read and then so on.

There is a fine line you have to walk between making emotional appeals and descending into hype-filled copy. The basic process is people buy on emotions and then seek to rationalize it with logic so they feel they made the right choice. If you need some example, find successful sales letters and study them very well.

It is really very helpful for you to read professional copy, and then purposely dissect it into the various parts. You can help your self immensely by trying to feel how they feel about what ever the problem is you are writing about. What your copy has to do is basically make the sale without doing any selling to the person.

It is too easy to do spell/grammar check before you publish anything, so there is no excuse for mistakes in your copy. You either have the software in your word processors or can find it online for free. Of course there is the requisite proof reading that should always be done, as well.

There are many ways and approaches to editing and revision, so pick something you like and go with it. It will not only make you a better copywriter, but a more responsible one at that.

Always remember, you’re writing copy for your target audience, and not for yourself – so it should always be about them.

The Power of RSS Submissions…

One area where many internet marketers neglect is that of rss submissions. Many may submit their rss feeds to one or two directories but no more than that; which is a big mistake when they want to increase their traffic.

There are a number of rss submission sites with some requiring registrations and some not. Many of these are bulk standard sites bit there are a few that do serve particular niches and they serve these niches very well….

As part of the complete ‘traffic mystic secrets 2.0′ solution we have included RSS feed submissions as part of this experimental system. The results of the RSS submissions have been extremely promising and have increased traffic in the short term by around 5-10%. The results are looking very impressive.

The problem with RSS submissions however, is the time you have to take when you submit to all the RSS sites that you want to submit to. This will put many off and they will lose the benefits that RSS gives.  I initially submitted  to 35 of the top free sites  and it took around 90 minutes to fully submit to them all.. this took around 2.4 minutes per site.

To make this easier I created an application to semi-automate the process. The software auto fills in all of the fields on the web pages for us and auto loads the RSS submission sites themselves; all you need to do is enter any ‘captcha’ code and press the submit. After using the software the time to submit reduced to under 10 minutes, which is a huge reduction in the time taken to carry this task out.

The 35 sites are free submission sites and another 15-20 registered sites have been added and also around 10 specifi niche sites.

I’m also in the process of adding in the following functionality:

  • Blog Submissions
  • Video Submissions (not in the initial version of the software)
  • Directory Submissions (not in the initial version of the software)
  • Secret Twitter Tool (not released till completed)

I’m going to be giving this tool away for free when I’m satified that any bugs are ironed out. I will be beta testing the application with some marketing friends from a past 30 day challenge team I was in.

I’m still not sure whether to release the software as a standalone application or  rewrite it for the web and  allows general use of it from this site.  This is one I will have to think on… a web version would be easier for updates.

Well thats me for now.. this was just a quick update.
