you add the direct urls into the channel as an item. Put your domain url in as the channel url.. On the pinging you ping the web site urls them selves. Also add you site rss as well if possible..

You submit the published rss feed to the RSS directories.. You submit the rss feeds to syndicate the links to other sites and as an affect of this you do end up getting free inbound links to you own site.

Hi John,

The architecture would work ok and you can get plugins to auto blog on MU sites. I would suggest adding more diversity into you tier 1/2 link building though by adding in article directory posts (only the top 10 directories) for traffic and ranking.. also bookmark everything and build rss feeds off any all the pormoting links (ie.. profile links).

On tools.. xrumer is very expensive but a better solution for auto profile link building would be 'nuclear link blaster'. For a lower cost but only semi automated solution you may want to look at seo link dom. If you looking for a solution to auto build your web 2.0 networks / bookmarking / rss mashing you may also want to look at 'Seo Link Robot' -> http://www.seolinkrobot.com

On a very limited budget I would go for seo link dom though it is semi automated not full automated, but it does the job for profile style links.
On the other limited budget side, I would suggest targeting 'non-monthly' subscription products if you can to save a lot ocost month on month..

Hi

Great post and feedback,

You seem pretty clued up so I wanted to bounce an architecture question off you.

I want to build a solid back linking solution for myself and my new SEO clients.

I would like to build a design that is robust and produces results ongoing. It has to be white hat, not black or grey. I'm thinking that having a private aged domain a layer tier will provide protection from spam, slpogs etc..

I'm thinking of a 4 tier architecture
Tier 4>>Tier 3>>Tier 2 Private>> Tier 1 Money Site

Tier 2 Private aged domains Wordpress & rss optimiser, quality articles

Tier 3 (WPMU???) low quality articles (can you autoblog on these?)

Tier 4 (Profiles - Xrumer???)

I'm interested in your view on the above architecture and how tier 3 & 4 would work with available tools, techniques and your experienced knowledge.

What is the best suggested architecture and tools I should invest my "limited budget" in?

Tools, SickMarketing, Xrumer, SEO Link Dominator, Nuclear Link Blast???????????

Cheers,
John

I am new at pinging as well, my question is after creating the icerocket account and the RSS feed when I ping should the feed alone or ping the website with the optional RSS in the the field?

For example it says

Blog/post url:
RSS/XML (Optional)

Should I ping the Icerocket channel's feed as the blog/post url or do I put my direct site in there and place the icerocket channel feed in the 2nd field? Or does it produce the same result? Hopefully thats not confusing

I think you automate this and grab the rss url then ping and promote them automatically using a little software app..

If you can give me more info the process you use for this then maybe I can knock something up..

Thanks
